Found a few vintage relics over the past two days in the same area where I found my 1878 Carson City dime. Thought I'd post them all in one thread to make it easy on me.
Best find was a Sterling silver bangle or bracelet. Very thin and delicate with an ornate design on it. Could be antique, but not positive. First silver jewelry I've found in this spot. I've found at least a half dozen religious pendants and crucifixes here, but they were all silver plated or brass.
Next finds were a matching pair of heel plates with a heart design. Both are damaged, but pretty cool to find the pair about five feet from each other. Most likely from the late 1800's.
Last find is a Sweet, Orr and Company button with a train design. Beck is iron and trashed, but the front did clean up nicely with some naval jelly. Probably from a pair of overalls. Could be from the late 1800's or possibly early 1900's.
Overall, not a bad two days!
