Hi everyone. A professional metal detector from France advised me to write in this forum to find a professional metal detector in Réunion Island (La Réunion, a french overseas territory in the Indian Ocean).

I lost my gold wedding ring last Saturday and I wanted to ask help to try to find it please. It fell on a muddy canal, that time with water (because there was a recent cyclone), and some grasses/vegetation. I'm attaching a photo for your reference.

I really hope someone could help me if you know anyone, please. 😭😭😭 thank you so much 😭

With that vegetation you would have more luck winning on a lottery ticket than finding your ring. :( I would check at the beaches there is probably someone there who detects.

I check it from time to time and so far, the water was gone. Do you think it's still impossiblz to find it like this? :(

We found a guy who does metal detecting in the beach but he said he was not a professional and cant help us. Can you recommend us anyone? :(

Gotta be someone out there willing to help you, if not you might be better off finding a cheap one for sale and try to find it yourself. I would absolutely help, but unfortunately, I'm about halfway across the earth  I can imagine that territory is something to be seen. Love the Madagascar movies  good luck, hope you can find someone to help you out!

You dont have to be a professional to metal detect, it's as simple as beep and dig when looking for a specific item. Dig all repeatable signals.

We actually tried it on our own last time but it was too hard to dig in the mud, and as per advice of a professional metal detector from France, the more we move in the mud, the more the possibility of it going deeper, so we wanted a professional's help. But thanks for the advice. Hopefully we find someone.
