Wow, great finds again! Only one question though....how do you count a cut silver dime? Is it counted as one silver dime or a half dime?:?::lol:

.... It also helps comparing signals with Dan.

When it comes to deep turf silver angling, and explorers, this is definately the ticket. Have someone who's proficient at nailing deep whispers (that he can accurately call as "probably silver/wheatie"), flag suspected signals . Then the other person tries it too.

THEN the "lights go on" and it makes sense. Before that, it's just and endless stream of confusing nonsensical tooty fluty signals that all sound the same

Totally true. Whenever we get to a spot we usually will compare signals to get an idea of what we are listening for. We had a funny experience this past Saturday when I got a really deep iffy signal and at the same time Dan got a similar signal. After listening to each signal we dug the targets and to both of our surprise they were wheats. We then knew what we had to listen for and in this small area we ended up digging a handful of wheats and a few silver coins. Every park is different based on minerals, etc in the ground so an 8 inch target at one park will sound totally different in another park.

Thanks Mud!

Nice going! Even a couple Barbers, Congrats! 19 degrees and snow here in the Boston area, no hunting for me for a while..
Thanks John! I have been on a barber streak. I think I found 4 in December and now 2 in January. Stay warm back there.

Thanks buddy! I court each piece as one. Both of these pieces were found a couple feet apart from each other so two digs = two separate finds.

VERY nice hunt man, you really put the work in and it shows!
Thanks buddy, I appreciate it.
