Had a older guy in town lost his hearing aid in his yard, asked if I'd help find it..I looked but they're so small, his other reads from 40s to so it's odd shaped and little metal if any.. searches and nothing, lots of coin signals but one in general was a loud 94...I told him If he's ok I'll dig it up,he said go ahead.. 8 inches down came a 1943 walking half..took a pic and gave him the coin..I don't get out much, work and remodeling the bathrooms, removing all the copper piping and replacing it too.. thanks for looking

I was asked last week to find a hearing aid lost in the park. Thank goodness they found it before I spent the day looking. They found it in the parking lot at Walmart. I have found that in most cases of a lost article, it was lost nowhere near where they tell you. If it were, chances are they would have found it.

I searched a school playground for hearing aids before. No luck. When I took one of my mom's aids out and laid it on the ground, all I got was a quiet iron tone, even with the battery installed in it. That was certainly not how I thought it would sound. I would have had to dig hundreds of iron tones to find it.
