Just getting back from long break, I am on Oxygen and have a 6 pound O2 generator on my back when detecting.

What are you finding is the hardest obstacle to overcome? I fear I'm not far behind on needing oxygen when out hunting myself.

Use pin point mode. You will find where you get the signal and where it pinpoints will be different. Usually the nail is off to the side of where the good numbers show up
Yes, Now that you say that I remember the nails location way off from the high signal. I'll do that. The 705 was very accurate. I used the Nox 600 a couple times then was put on Oxygen and quit for a coupe yrs. I wear a 6 pd generator on my back and went out in the yard. I did 5 - 6 holes ,and was getting to tired but I'm not quitting. Im planning on tectin more. Thanks a ton.
The hose catches on many things especially door knobs and believe it or not that little bit of extra weight makes getting up n down from the knees more difficult. I have to use suspenders for all the detecting gear. Oxygen dries out the mouth and of coarse sinuses and I have to carry water, there is a couple more pounds. I've have a big heavy dose of radiation on the lung cancer and it's worked well but it kills a large area of lung and I tire much easier. Radiation is microwaving the spot its focused on. Had the radiation in summer of 2021 and just had a scan and it's doing good due to Gods diligence on the matter. thank God. COPD too and that's puy my wife on Oxygen too . Many i've met are on it or near from COPD. thanks bud.

As Tpmetal said I use pin point mode if it sounds a little funny. That usually works well. There’s two types of nail that fool me. A modern nail bent in half and those very old square nails that are hardly rusted. I guess there must be some other metal mixed in the old nails for them to still be around. Keep trying. 5 or 6 holes yesterday maybe 7or 8 tomorrow?
