It's been awhile

Got out on a frosty Saturday to a very familiar cellar hole in town. Despite many persistent attempts, I had been unable to find a copper since July. Then,about 10" under a root i spied the green edge of a large cent! An 1800 draped bustĺ.I also got two tombac buttons, a patterned button a thimble and a metal bead. Happy Holidays All

Nicely done Frank! Been a tough year to find coppers for sure but you saved it from a cold winters nap.

Oh you poor pathetic east coast soul. You had to go a WHOLE 5 MONTHS without a Large Cent ? My heart just bleeds for you .

Huge congrats Frank on the Large Cent recovery. Its been quite a few years since I last put one into my coffers. A overall complete hunt with some nice items to go with the big Copper. Trapper
