I was out detecting last weekend. I found some late 1800s stuff. 2 IHPs a GAR button and some spoons and a butter knife. That was enough to keep me busy. Today it’s raining so I started cleaning some of the junk from last week. My junk turned in to a scale face and a powder flask.

Well I can honestly say that everything I put in my junk pouch turns out to be just that, JUNK!:rofl2: No amount of cleaning will make it a viable find.

Yeah I'm with GS, your thread title could be a little ambiguous. Ha ha. But I do agree with you, I have had more than one surprise from the junk pile. Nice save Andy. Good luck. Mark
