I’ve been having a dry streak with new permissions. Well that changed today. Got a new permission got there got out of the truck started swinging got about 50 ft got my first signal dug it and out popped a colonial copper. Well that was a good start! I ended up finding a colonial home site. I found two half penny, a farthing 1749, two classic head large cents, a draped bust half cent, a classic head 1809 half cent, several Tom back buttons, a strange blow hole button it’s fancy on the front but it clearly has two holes on the back and a bunch of other old stuff. The one coin was broken I found the two pieces about twenty feet apart. I’m guessing the plow broke it and moved it apart? It was a great day of digging. I’m going back tomorrow to see what I missed.
Come on old silver.
