This one has me alittle stumped. Can't seem to find a solid match online. Found it on a site that saw a small civil war battle.

I can make a mark on my home cast muzzle loader bullets today. Don't believe everything you are told. I can't find a match but it looks like either a "cleaner" bullet that would have had a zinc disc attached to the bottom or a paper cartridge bullet with the bottom part used to hold the paper charge to the bullet with a string. The diameter is right for the 50-70 but bullets were quite a bit heavier. There was also a 50 caliber Colt but the bullet weight was 346 grains and length was 22.3mm. Most ".50 caliber" civil war bullets were a bit to quite a bit larger than .500".

Not Civil War, neither a zinc disk or paper cartridge attached to the bullet. Likely cast for more modern muzzle loader like a 45cal. Whats the dia measurement come up in "inches" mode ?
