We have been having unseasonably warm weather. It was 72° yesterday so I thought I would go to my usual school ground and hunt for a little while before dark. I found 73 or 74 cents lost a penny somewhere in the car and I got the usual junk. (The ring is a junker! Copper. Might have had plating of some kind over the copper at one time.)

Now today it's 30° and going to be colder by nightfall! We had 70° on Christmas Day! Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and may this coming year be a great year for all of us! HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Congrats on your finds. Nice you were able to get out. Snow, freezing rain, 25 degrees and the wind blowing 60 miles an hour here. Guess I'll take the day off from detecting. Best of luck if you get out again. Happy New Year.

Yeah it might have been in the '70s yesterday but right now at 12:50 a.m. on the 30th it is 27°, it was in the '30s for most of the day yesterday the 29th we'll have a heatwave by New Year's rumor has it it'll be in the 40s or '50s not holding my breath.

Those junker rings are super fun to find, gets the blood pumping for a second or two!
Congrats on getting out there and Happy new year to you as well!
I like the junker rings since that's what I find the most of. I have found silver and gold rings but that's been a LONG time ago.

Wow, you found a couple of dogs ? I'm green with envy. I've never found dogs before ! How deep were they ? :cool3:

Tom, they're my babies. Charlie (Santa) is a Dachshund Chihuahua 13 years old and Pepper (Santa's Helper) is a Chihuahua almost 19 years old!
