Went out to the soccer fields for a quick hunt and found this chain about 3 inches down. It rang up in the 90’s. I dug the plug and out it popped. Not sure of what I had as it looked like it was a little worn and I was sure it was gold plated. Got it home and washed it off. Noticed the 14K stamp on the end. Now I thought it has to be gold plated!
I’ll take it to my coin dealer tomorrow and have him test it. Could I be that lucky???

If it turns out to be real solid gold, then : That's the one I lost there. If you need a description of it (for proof), let me know. Kindly mail it back to me. However, if it turns out to be plated, then .... it's not the one I lost. :friends:

False alarm!! It’s plated! Sure had my hopes up though!!
That'd be disappointing to find out, but at least you don't have to mail it to Tom.
