Oops this belongs in ‘Stories and Pictures of Finds’ can a moderator move it?
Winter finally came and slowed down detecting. Just before a snow storm I made a trip to an old community and school where I found an unexpected bucket lister, a 3 Merry Widows Tin. It was in rough condition but I worked on it and it looks pretty good now.
I also traveled to Jacksonville, Fl to run a Breast Cancer fundraising Marathon. Before the race I spent time on a few beaches where I got some change and a hot wheels truck. Then an old park that had a home on it in early 1900’s. I did find a wheatie and a clock key but little else on the home site. In the old park I found a tungsten ring that sells now on the Triton web site for $350, but when I thought about selling it on ebay I see it there everyday for $50. Also an old 18k plated ring.
So it’s been a few lean weeks but at least I can get out..
P.S. the ‘42 quarter is from an old store site that I have pulled a lot of older silver from.
