Good morning, my son (10 years old) and I are just getting into metal detecting. I won a storage auction and there was a bounty hunter tracker iv metal detector in it. We found a bunch of interesting things yesterday with just barely skimming the surface of what we have to search. Tons of square nails. What looks to be a handmade chisel. A cast iron wheel from a toy. I believe the silver object is maybe a smashed tea cup? What appears to be an old chain. And I think parts of an old stove? I've attached pictures if anyone might be able to help us with any information. My son is a little history buff and wants to know more! Thank you again.

First, Welcome to the forum and to the hobby. It's awesome the two of you can start out and share this together. Your journey's have just begun too. You have some interesting finds there. The last photo has me intrigued. Is that a small V pully on the bottom the thing to the right? Well done to you both. :waytogo:

Just a suggestion, to keep us from guessing on sizes, please put a ruler in every photo, then we can know what size these object are. Glad you and your boy are having fun....that was my first detector, back in 2011! HA HA It is great for coins under 4 inches deep!
