Was fine midweek, Thursday night I was going to post something and was getting a message that made me think the site was down.
checked from work the next day and no problems but I'm still getting the same thing all weekend. Same deal on both Chrome and Safari. Only on my Mac though, and I haven't made any changes to it recently.

Will let Vlad know.
fyi, I use a MAC as well as iPad and iPhone to access the forum, no issues at the moment.

If you haven't already, restart the Mac and see what happens.

If that doesn't work, try resetting Chrome:
  1. Open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, select More
    More
    and then
    Settings.
  3. Select Reset settings
    and then
Restore settings to their original defaults
    and then
    Reset settings.
  4. Close Chrome, then open it and see if the site works.

If all that doesn't work and you are using an antivirus program, then temporarily disable your antivirus and see if the site opens.

Thanks, I will try that!

I use a Mac, iPhone and iPad. No issues at this end.
For reference, I am running Ventura 13.4.

What was the message you were getting?

I just tried on Ipad pro and iPhone, using Safari, no issues...
Try deleting cookies and rebooting the device, report back if the problem persists...

Something else to check:

If you're using a shortcut to access FMDF, then there might be an issue with the address that the shortcut / bookmark / favorite, contains.

Open Safari, but manually search for "Friendly Metal Detecting Forum", and see if you can access FMDF from the search results.

I am sorry, I got the Chrome reload started, got busy and didn’t retry reloading the site. I’m pretty sure it’s limited to my computer, which is a 2015 iMac

No problem, thanks for bringing it to our attention as others were having similar issues.
