Thanks Ron, appreciate the comments and so glad you enjoy them !

Having been busier than before in recent months I have not made new funny edits as often this year, but hope to try to get back to where I can make at least one new one a month (if not more often) but the KT totlot idea was a funny one indeed so I will be posting one about that real soon

Imagine if this is how KingTotsalot (aka "KT") waited to detect a totlot !:laughing::laughing:

PLEASE NOTE: IF the upper right corner of the above funny edit is hard to read you might want to use the zoom feature for your computer screen to make it larger and easier to read.
After it was too late to still do an edit to my previous post I thought of an idea to include a zoomed in pic of the upper right corner so you can have an easier to read view of the comments about KT waiting to detect

That first view with the kiddos everywhere…..that is exactly how it was at a public park near Bryant AR when KT recovered a gold necklace and 14K Crucifix under the swing set! Two ladies sitting on a bench nearby saw His Majesty bend over and pick up the items but did not see what it was. They asked KT if he ever found anything any good and it blew their collective minds when His Majesty showed them what he just found! :kingdances::kingdances:

Haven't hit very many tot lots this year , with the heat we have had earlier this year and the rain lately doesn't seem they have got much use. Do have a big sand volleyball court i need to get back out and check. Did hit a recenty county fair ground and hit a few coins.

I definitely have not given up on detecting, but between being positive for Covid for 6 weeks and then recovery (I really thank God that I only had 2 rough days when I first came down with Covid, very low energy, coughing up much mucus and no appetite for 2 days, then mostly just waiting to test negative, less and less mucus, and getting more energy back) and then the weather going between excessive rain often followed by excessive heat it has been hard getting back into doing an occasional detecting hunt, as much as I enjoy detecting, it is not as enjoyable when there is excessive heat, I likely would spend more time trying to stay cool and avoid heat exhaustion then I would detecting :coolinoff:

But hey, we can hope Fall temps start sooner rather than later ! :mder:

Truly sorry to hear about your bout with Covid. Prince John came down with Covid about 2 weeks ago from a spreader at his work. Did the home test and got the diagnosis very quickly, so Dr. Put him on 5 days of Paxlovid, after 3 days he was recovering nicely and after 7 days was able to go back to work. Some folks can tolerate Paxlovid well, and some cannot.

Thanks KT !

Very glad to hear your son recovered quickly and was able to get right back to work that soon ! :neat:

I am retired so had no concern about risking a job, but it took almost 4 days for me to take an at-home Covid test since I initially thought it was the Flu, since I had started improving a lot after the first 2 rough days I never even contacted my doctor till it was close to my routine 6 month appointment, I just monitored my temp and oxygen level and rested but still kept doing some simple chores to keep active too. I had my routine 6 month check-up shortly after testing negative and my overall health is really good, I thank God as that was extra good to hear after going thru Covid.

Hoping our fall is longer this year and doesn't jump straight to winter. With the drought, then extreme heat ,then too much rain , has been a short detecting season. Fall will make the difference of a bad year or a so-so year. In spite of the weather challenges have enjoyed every minute of detecting and just added a new additional digger to my tools. Needed extra digging power in the rock-hard dry soil. Probably will ad a new short root slayer shovel to mix as well for places i can use one.
