Experience with tumblers

My son and I would like to try cleaning some of the clad we found. We have a tumbler already- where do you purchase the media/beads to put into the tumbler? I have read aquarium gravel, plastic triangles from HF or plastic beads with some sort of soap and water. Any suggestions from experience? Just looking to clean up clad- not the "good" stuff LOL.
Aquarium gravel👍 with water covering the gravel/coins and a drop of dish soap is all you need.

Steam just mentioned one method, but being a reloaded, here is what KT recommends. KT suggests crushed dry walnut hulls, you can find them at most gun stores, because they are used with water and a few drops of Dawn liquid to clean brass ammo casings. Should work fine with coins and take off the corrosion without affecting the metal.

Thanks for all the feedback- my son is with me this weekend and might give aquarium gravel a try. How long do you let the tumbler run for?
