This one might be tough, but can anyone help identify? Seems to be an old copper one cent piece. I can make out some text on the reverse, but im no coin expert.

Judging by looks, I'd say a large cent maybe around the end of the 1700's into the early 1800's time frame, but there isn't a lot of detail to go off of. :shrug:

I can see the text your referring to, and I'm pretty sure it says either LIBERTY or AMERICA. That said, I'm going with a U.S. large cent of some variety.
 
+1 for old large cent of some variety. I also see liberty and agree it's too thick for a british copper
