Found this button and trinket case lid in the mud along a tidal river bank. The button looked like new when it was wet! The backmark simply says "London Plated", with floral marks, too. The shank was there when I dug it, but I think it must have broken off in my bag. Google says the lid is "vintage", but I haven't narrowed down a date range yet.
