So, nobody wanted to go out today with me...so between the rain in the PNW, I found a moment to hunt a few curbstrips and a church that was under-going some renovations. All told it was barely 2.5 hours. Started at 0910 today and hunted curbstrips that I have hunted numerous times before, turned the corner of the street and kept going (talked to a few workers on a house at the corner about potentially hunting their contracted property but no joy)...after about 30 feet from that discussion with the workers I got a good signal right at the edge of the street/curbstrip....what pops out but a 1907 Canadian Silver (Sterling) quarter!...kept on going and found a wheat or two. Then I turned the corner on a church that has been very good to me in the past, there was a worker there that indicated his organization has purchased the church to turn it into communal housing.....he have me permission to hunt the church property. Immediately I found a 1947D Rosie, soon after I found a 1919S Mercury Dime. Today was going very well!!!
Then the rain started coming and I decide to not be greedy and pack it in for the day.
2+ hours hunting: 1907 Canadian Silver Quarter, 1919S Mercury Dime, 1947D Rosie and 2 Wheats (pre-1947)....ALL GOOD!! 30 Silvers for the year!!!
HH and GL all!!!
