Camden South Carolina Permission Need Advice

Have gained permission on a 100 acre tract north of Camden that is within mile and half of Hanging Rock Battlefield. Haven't been there yet and probably be November or December before I can make the trip. Per landowner doesn't believe has been detected. From historicaerials there was and old farm place back in the 50s so I'm sure its much older than that. Excited about old home place. Any guesses on whether any artillery made it that far. Unsure how spread out the battle was.

Wheatback, I am a local digger our of Lexington/West Cola and saw you were digging in Camden. How did it go? One of my favorite places to swing a coil.. When you are on some relics they are great and that soil is second to none up there.. Would love to know if you had any luck.

We hit it about 3 hours back in January cold cold. Best finds were some old buttons. House goes back to early 1800s still standing being used by hunting club. Pretty sure has been detected but still needs a good going over,
