back to 1796 1833 house today

had some time went back to the old house got me some nice toy army cars , a 1945 nickle , some kids dishes and spoon , and my first large cent 1853 !!! and some shiny thing i dont know what it is for a car label maybe . the cars where made in england im guessing around world war II by a company named Lesney

did you know the lesney company from england copy righted the frase "match box" his daughter could not bring any toy bigger then match box so he made her match box sized cars to take to school the kids loved them so much he started to make more . then it became an american saying from there
 
Those are definitley Matchbox. The first is a Scammel Breakdown Truck #64. Made from 1959 to 1969.

The second is the tank from the Thornycroft Antar Tank Transporter #M3A. First made in 1959. Do not know for how long.

When I get time I will post pics of both in mint condition.
