Antique Siver Jewelry?

Found this at an elementary school of the arts founded in 1922. Any idea as to how it was worn or what it was?? I thought maybe the backing to a locket but I see no proof of a hinge on it. Thanks, HH

It could have been part of a brooch held by prongs like a stone in a ring.. just a guess.. nice find though

Looks like a metal patato chip, does that say 925?? it looks like some other type of metal in the pics ....

Haha, I was thinking that too when I pulled it out of the ground. It is silver and that does say .925! HH

Interesting find for sure. Maybe because it was a school for the Arts, they were making something with it? Some kind of jewelry craft?

I wonder if it's possible to trace the hallmark?

Sure, it says THAILAND and then in a circle, to the left of the 925, it says:

SU then it says 925 then in a circle to the right: C Underneath it all is Thailand.
