Another silver ring - check this out!

Searched a new athletic field today. Two full size baseball fields. I was happy to find $16 in clad quarters and a 1963 dime there, but as I was getting ready to leave I found this unique, 92.5, chunky amethyst ring with small diamonds. Needless to say... I'm having a very good freakin week!

I know you're kidding, but I always wear gloves. Lots of broken glass in these city fields. In some of the 'hoodie' city parks I've been to have used syringe needles on/in the ground. Detectorists that city dig with their bare hands are asking for trouble.

It's gaudy as hell, but chunky and unique. I had a jeweler friend look at it. The amethyst is real, so are the small diamonds. He thinks it was made in the early 70's.
