another odd find near 19th century foundation

dug this today about 10 yards away from a 19th century foundation in the woods. my first reaction was some sort of girls hair clip because of the detail thats hard to make out from this picture? seems to be some sort of brass or silver combo according to the detector. cant wait to hear your ideas!
