We really are a Friendly bunch,....

Yes, please do not confuse mere difference of ideology to be: "non-friendly". And sure, there's bound to be "locker room talk". Don't be afraid to grow a thick skin.

And as for the current subject matter, you have to admit, that : "uncanny rock shapes" said to be proof of "fabulous treasure" is BOUND to ... uh .... "raise some eyebrows". I mean, can you blame people for being skeptical ?

Coincidental random shapes can exist that do not mean "treasure". Heck, even PURPOSED shapes (faces, geometric patterns, etc...) can exist and also not mean "treasure".

Otherwise, this sort of reminds me of one time a guy got on an md'ing forum with the following "treasure lead discussion" : The guy would study google satellite photos ad nauseam till he finally found un-canny symbols and designs in the middle of the Nevada or Arizona desert. Eg.: bushes and trees that seems to be in the shape of a cross, or arrow, or turtle, or whatever.

This is nothing more than one of 2 explanations :

1) pareidolia. Defined here : https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/pareidolia

2) Or it IS some "Purposed design" (by some caveman or dude 100 yrs. ago), yet .... someone who just made rocks or garden ornaments or fences or street patterns in whimsical shapes for no other purpose that decoration, or cheap thrills. In other words : Why the notion that just because some dude 100 yrs. ago organized a rock pile in a certain shape, that it *must* point to "fabulous treasure" ?
