I was thinking that all my good spots have been planted or are in hay and still needs to be cut. I guess I was wrong. Had to settle for a field that I think may have been a camp? I didn’t find much but what I found is quality.

Not sure how this IHP got here. It’s a hundred years later than everything I’ve found in this field. I’m not complaining. I love a pretty Indian!

Hehe....nice digging on the IHP and 1 Reale. And I hear ya on the planted fields. I mainly hunt fields and the good ones are all in crops or high grass, not to mention too dry.

Quality, I'd say so. Excellent save MDM. Congrats on the Spanish silver and beautiful Ihp. Both coins are it great shape for their age. Good luck and good hunting. Mark

Wow wow wow. Mind if I ask how deep those coins where buried?

Mark in Michigan
They where in a corn field. Both where 6 to 8”deep. So I would have to think that they have been plowed up and down for a long time. In this area the crop fields are mostly no till farming now, for the past 25 or 30 years or so.
