A handsome threesome arrived yesterday at the Royal Castle!

Grandma Barber, Daughter Walker, and Great Grandson Ben were awaiting when KT arrived back from lunch. The Royal Guard had escorted them into the Royal Courtyard and saw that they had comfortable seating and something to drink while awaiting KT's arrival. KT gives a Royal Thanks to those Castle Gate Guards as they took great care of these elderly visitors!

Both the Grandmother and her daughter are well over 100 years old! Ben had a look of relief on his face for his elders to be so very well cared for! KT bid them stay as long as they wished and from their wear they have had long and useful lives, helping build this country through the last century! KT found a 2 bedroom suite in the Castle for them, and assured them they could relax and have a great life here. Ben gets his own bedroom as he might find some of the Castle inhabitants quite interested in him, and the master bedroom for the Ladies has its on separate restroom. Before retiring to rest for the Banquet tonight in their honor, the Royal Photographer arrived and escorted them to his studio for a picture! Incidentally, the Barber is an S mint!

KT is afraid, hoser, that you have gotten the genealogy and even sex of one of the silver halves incorrect. The Barber is a Liberty head, so thus is female! Look closely at her and you will see that she looks like the face of the Statue of Liberty, but in profile! And she is dated 1908, so she is the Great Grandmother of Ben of 1957. Now the Walker is the Grandmother of Ben, originating in 1917! The Queen says we do not have a family tree in this instance but a cross between a briar bush and a rip briar!

What a great 'trifecta' there KT! I like the lineage too - my favorite is the Barber, though it would be a joy to have those three in the hand, feeling the weight and the jingle of silver hitting silver when tossing them ever so slightly into the air and back. I have some Kens and a Walker or 2? thanks to ScubaDetector (RIP) but no Barbers in my peasant collection. Great addition to the royal coin room
