A few last things at a great site.

Went out to day with a friend of mine and my DR mower. The back of this site had weeds that were too high to swing over. Well I could have left the mower at home. Not a thing good come out of the ground were I mowed. But we did manage to both find a couple of old things. My friend found a small button and two large cents. I found a very small button and a big button. Also found a half cent and a large cent. None of the coins had much details but there still fun to find. My friend suggested this site may have been a toll? That may explain the lack of house hold finds and the large amount of coppers.

Oh you poor babies. Had to contend with a few LC's and half-cents now & then that aren't candy-apple nice & detailed ? Must be hard, how did you cope ? tsk tsk

Yeah... I've wondered if I should carry an old reel style lawnmower in the back of my wagon. Some yards just have been poorly maintained and getting that grass nice and low would make for much better detecting!
