I’m mostly a relic hunter but lucked into these coins today at some foundations of a long gone village. The quarter is a 1916 standing liberty quarter with 2 even older barber dimes. Any value here?

They appear to be common dates, so Hungry Ghost is right : Whatever the spot market for silver is.

A 1916 slq would be worth $5000 yours is not a 16 a 16 would not have stars under the eagle . It appears to be a 1918 .sube

I know that you are a legend user, what's the vdi on that quarter? 55-57?

I found the dimes with the legend and the VDI was a solid 46.. I went back with a nox 900 and found the quarter that rang up in the mid 80s.I did check the quarter in my yard with the Legend and it read 48-50.

Yep.. good info Sube.. I double checked it with a jewelers loupe and it does appear to be a 1918. Huge difference in value lol

A silver quarter under 50 doesn't sound quite right, dimes usually show up in that range. Me thinks we/you might have confused the machines. A SLQ is keeper every day of the week. Really nice!

Mark..If I hold the Legend coil (LG24) about an inch above the quarter it will show a solid 50, but if I raise the coil about 4 inches or so as if it was buried that deep the VDI will bounce between 48 and 50. The 900 VDI was mid 80s
