A couple of old things

I went across the street to a hill top field. A month or two ago I found a small flat button, a blow hole button and two colonial coppers here. This evening I found a piece of broken shoe buckle and a toasted copper. This site puzzles me. There’s no nails not much of anything. Just a few old thing spread out on maybe 1/2 acre. There’s a old home site a couple hundred yards away. So maybe this was a camp site? I’m not sure but it’s fun hunting it.

Glad to see you're getting out MDM. Congrats on the copper and other finds. I was able to get out once in the last three weeks, things have really slowed down around here. And with heat and dry ground coming things ain't lookin up. Good luck. Mark

Good going MDM. Old things like that just confirms there will be more, and better things to find. :waytogo:

Things are a little slow for me also. I am finding that I prefer fields to hunt. Which is problematic this time of the year. I have a couple sites in hay so they should be cutting them any day now. My best site because of the rotation of the crops, I may not be able to get back in there until next year.😢

Hope things turn around for you. I know you where on a tear this past winter. Looking forward to you getting some more.
