From the land of the Bluenose......well it had to happen and I'm sure that all of us have had "one of those days" where nothing goes right. Subconsciously even before I woke up it was one of those days as I dreamed that Marie ran away with the Maytag repair man! Too boot I thought I even woke up on the right side of the bed at the crack of dawn (no I didn't break it) only to remember it's my day off!

A trip into the motor vehicle to get a birth cetificate for Otto Moe Beal and a trip back out to get Marie's "Mary Henry". Another trip back into the motor vehicle that resulted in a much lighter wallet then off to a dig.

First time I had one of those Kodak moments I got another blow..my digital camera was toast. Anyway and undaunted I continued on my dig and hit my 50 coin quota which included a 25 cent. Pilipanas coin, Casino Nova Scotia (nice Bluenose on the obverse) token for 25 cents, gold guild sailor cuff button, golf egg and the 56 coins @ $5.47.

Getting home was a treat as the brakes on Otto were screaming like a Banshee and to boot.............my ball game is cancelled. Was looking forward to it as I have missed the first 3 of the season. Tried to take a photo of my finds with my old Kodak Easyshare camera and that too was toasted. Lord love a duck.

Trying to scrounge up a digital camera till I either get a new one or the Olympus is repaired. Charged me $15 just to have a look at it. Son of a sea horse.

After a day like this it's off to the "Smart Shop" to pick up Bud and his friends so that they can come over to watch game 5 of the Stanley Cup playoffs......goooooooooo Ottawa!

On the bright side............Marie came home with a naughty smile on her face. Always a salmon amoungst the herring in the net I saz.

Some how I can see the images just as clearly! Your words paint a glorious picture Leslie...sometimes better than the photographs. Thanks for the story and good luck with the camera.

Keep Swing'in
Jack
