These Walking ladies were waiting for KT when he arrived at the Castle, having been invited in and fed a Royal Lunch by the Queen before Her Highness left on a two day trip! KT gave them His Royal Attention and discovered they all were born in 1944 in the city of Philadelphia, PA. They had recently just met each other and one had heard of His Majesty's Royal Kindness to WWII year coins, so they had banded together and safely made the journey to see if what they had heard was true!

KT was happy to visit with them and despite being some 89 years old, they were a happy bunch, full of good cheer and interesting stories. His Majesty graciously offered them residence in the Royal Collection for as long as they wished to stay. And they all agreed to perform odd jobs, fitting for their age, carrying for those younger than them, and providing wisdom to those younger than themselves after a lifetime of living. It is always good to have something to do to keep your mind young!

KT told the Royal Photographer to get their picture before they went to join with the many others in the Royal Collection!
Enjoy that picture!

A fitting post Memorial Day addition to the royal collection KT. Is the king idle with the queen away? How’d the royal carriage house hold up to the winter?

Coin roll hunting, or did you find these in Arkansas, digging?
Martin_V3i, neither. KT used to be an MDer, but the knees went bad, so in 2012 started CRHing….but during Covid the local banks cut off KT from that long term activity. When that happened, KT started purchasing halves off eBay. For every package His Majesty wins, He bids on over 100 batches!

Royal Thanks, GroundSweeper! No, His Majesty is busy documenting the many fluorescent specimens arriving at the Castle every week, and going out to eat, giving the Royal Kitchen Staff a well deserved break! Weather here has been nice, tho hot, but perfect for riding the Royal Steed! Concerning the Royal Carriage House, it came through fine, shedding a couple of short hail storms this Spring, a major sleet event, and much rain this Spring! KT will eventually have a load of crushed stone delivered and spread under it to make a water shedding base for the Royal Carriage!
