Hey all,

We had some big waves recently but they didn't cause the erosion that you would expect. Took a lot of scouting to find some beaches that were not sanded in. Got out as often as I could to try to squeeze some gold out of the sand. Managed pull 4 Gold and 1 Platinum in the last 5 days. The big honker was found today, 15.5 grams of 14k and 50 diamonds... judging by how beat up the gold is, it has been down there a while. Honorable mentions are a tiny gold heart, small sailboat gold pendant, diamond and sapphire ladies gold band, and a Tiffany Plat 950 band.

All were found with the Deus 2 except for the big honker that was found with the TDI.

Thanks for looking!

HH

Don't hurt your back wearing that ring!:lol:Way to go Crumble! Hopefully that one will polish out without losing stones.

HOLY MOLY! That biggie is a head thumper for sure. Even though most everything was sanded in you did outstanding. Congrats.:waytogo:

Yeah, the episode that started 12/28, and through the 1st week of January didn't do a lot of good here @ my part of CA (Monterey Bay ) either. Thanx for the update @ your area. Good to see the CA action !

Well done C! When I first saw a picture of that honker I actually thought it might be much heavier, not that I would complain. 😅
When a men's platinum Tiffany gets "Honorable Mention" you know you had an incredible week. I thought that you had sold that D2?

I kept the Puck remote and straight shaft, so all i needed was another coil. Picked up the 13" coil. Hated the antenna on the Deus 2, so figured may as well just use the puck remote and keep it wireless.

Holy Moly! That would be my best ring ever right there! What a honker. And with diamonds.....somebody was sick after losing that beauty. Congrats.

Got about 18 inches of snow the past 2 days, no chance of seeing the ground for awhile.. Can't even cruise the parking lot piles as the plows are still working the lots.. 😒
These kind of threads don't help one bit, do they? :frustrated: I feel for you....glad I don't ever have the "snow problem" to interfere with my detecting urges.

Very nice rings! congrats! I detected near the ocean a few days this month but the weather is not cooperating, cold and windows and rainy! lots of California coast storms but the erosion not so great, found a few places the erosion was good but still the targets are rare :(

What an awesome start to 2024! AND IT FITS I can see!
:dingding:
