I wanted to get 3 hours in before low tide, but a thunderstorm kept me off of the beach for an hour. I have had good luck here in the past on the dry sand, around the beach bars, and towel line. This was the first time I have tried all metal mode on the wet sand on this beach. I dug every targe. I found all of the coins the ear ring and the ring in the wet sand on a steep bank. I did try the dry sand, but gave up and went back to the wet after digging lots of trash. The steep bank only held heavier targets, so I didn't have to deal with bottle caps and pull tabs there. I wish the tide would have receded more, and the waves had not been so big. I couldn't get as far out as I would have liked. This beach is very popular with surfers, and the waves were bigger than average today.

The ring is stamped 925 and weighs 9 grams. There are many beach venders on the beach every day selling 925 Mexico silver jewelry. They sell most of the rings for around $20. I will try and sell this ring for $10 but will take $5. The coins add up to 124 pesos, about $7 US. and of course even in Mexico there are always a few pennies on the beach plus one dime.
