Not just one but two silvers in the same hole. Luck was with me today, first silver was a worn SLQ 1930 and then the 1953-D quarter. The SLQ had one of the two wheat cents found directly on top of it. VDI was 97. In total from this one hole I recovered $.62. I found all coins today at a sports field that I have hunter many times before however, I was exclusively working the sharp incline hilly area that surrounds the field with the over grown taller weeds.

Also, most of today's finds were from multi coin spills holes.

WTG, I'm going to guess that this area might have been a seating spot for events. Very juicy for finds.

Thanks markinmichigan! I think a lot of these finds were overlooked do to the footprint size perhaps thinking it may have been a can lid or similar. I dug up several lids and large wine bottle caps that normally I probably would not have dug just do the signal size. The day started out very slow but I was hungry enough to dig just about every signal at least for the exercise and it paid off.

Well alright John, better late than never. Congrats on the pair of silver quarters, wheats and clad. Sounds like that hill needs some more going over. Good luck.
Thanks Mark! I was definitely "Johnny come lately this year." For the angle of the hill, I think next time I better take an OSHA compliant fall protection harness. It certainly was in the range of being an ankle breaker for sure. Either way, those two silvers would have been worth it! John

Congrats on the pair of silvers and the rest! I had a decent start to the year, but havent hunted since March unfortunately. Hoping to get out some this fall. Good luck out there, and happy hunting!
Thanks cellrdwellr! That duo of silvers sure made my day, probably more exactly to say made my year so far. I too, have not hunted as much this year. But I will say, as for you, when you do hunt, you have found some fantastic finds, especially that badge/license and bracelet you had recovered a while back. Best of success to you again in your upcoming adventures!

Big congrats on the silvers. Becoming a lot harder to find. You did great saving these beauties.
Thanks hoser! I totally agree with you about the silver challenges, especially since for convenience and time restrictions I many times circulated back to the same locations I have been to in the past. Honestly, even that gives me much enjoyment too. Thanks again for checking out my latest finds!

Thanks too _pointer! I'm not sure if I broke the ice or I'll have to settle for these two silvers fty. Either way, there is always next year. Thank you for your kind words!
