1827 Dime

I picked this dime out of the trash today. (well, trashy area)
6 Inches deep in an area that has been hunted heavy for years.

I think I can speak for everyone in this forum, and kindly ask you to never post here again. We are getting tired of your finds, and you in general.

We much prefer to look at our wheaties and rosie dimes with pride, and are now officially tired of having to compare ourselves to Mr. "Colonial Jack", Mr. "Washington Pin", and now Mr. "1827 Dime".

That noise you hear next time you go out hunting will be me stalking behind you to find out all your secrets..

I am glad you all like it. I am disappointed about the scratch.... but I would be VERY disappointed if I had done it
I really slow down and listen at this particular site because reales, crotal bells, and other goodies have been pulled out. And I am not done with it yet!

Very nice old dime! I don't think a capped bust will every be a feasible find for me unless I travel out east someday.
