I'm sure you know this but for the benefit of others I'd like to Identify a couple pics you posted in your first post. About the 9th set of pics you show a can that looks like the old Prince Albert tobacco can and a beaded chain below it. That was a cleaning kit issued to the German soldier. The beaded chain was aluminum oval beads with the last link being a slot to put a patch in the slot. The chain was dropped down the barrel with the slot first then when it came out the action, a patch was put in the slot and chain pulled out. They are fairly rare. I have one of the chains and stamped on the last link where the slot is it is stamped 1937 with the eagle and swastika in the circle...
I don't have the can. The can I think is more rare than the chain and in good shape could be worth a few hundred bucks....Just want to explain what they were. ...Pete
