Does anyone know where I can find the laws about metal detecting in alabama because I heard most historical sights are illegal to hunt

I am in AL also and would be interested in such info too! Who does one talk to about detecting in parks or public land?

I would think if it's a city park go to the city hall. Worth a shot.
