I ask Whites about the availability of LCD screens for the DFX and this was their response.

There certainly will come a time when ALL technology is no longer available .... DFX screens are still around, but I don't know for how long. If you intend to keep your DFX "forever", I'd go ahead and get an LCD, a trigger switch and a couple of LCD covers "just to be safe". If you're thinking about trading up to a "V machine" one day, I wouldn't buy any spares.

Just add a keypad. It's a sticker like the LCD cover but with an electronic connector.
