Yep, I'm a complete Fisher newbie. I'm trying hard to learn, but I had to return my 11" DD back to Fisher, about a week ago. Only 2 weeks old, so I'm a bit bummed about that. Hopefully I'll have it back, before classes start (I'll assume that Mr Digger will be the professor). Anyway, all I got to learn with right now, is my little 5" DD (the small solid white coil).

Oh, and I have the Fisher 85th Anniversary Gold Edition, which they just recently put out. It is not the Ltd edition, with boost, or whatever, so I hope I still qualify for classes....😇

Love that big coil...but I haven't had mine mounted for weeks.
That 5" DD is my most used coil in my dirt and my sites.
