There's one area I hunt with my husband pretty frequently....
Indian head Pennies tend to come up at +55 on the VDI screen.
What are they running at in the areas you hunt?

I had a old 83 year old friend gave me these the other day they were part of his sisters collection she is in a nursing home now and is older than he is . But I have yet to dig one so not sure what the VDI number would be for them here . These are not in order according to the book there in but run from 1875 to 1908 .

Hello MXT users!! I found a few IH's this summer, my first. They rang up anywhere from 50 to about 75, or like a wheat. I think some of the real corroded ones had the lower numbers. I think the composition of the IH's can differ also depending on age? Not sure, but think I read that somewhere. I know I dig the zinc pennies when i think there might be IH's also, as these are one of my favorite coins, for now at least.

I have only found one, a week or two ago and it rang in about 60. It was a 1900 IH
