A few finds from a desert railroad stop. My first ever lead soldier, sans his head.A glass railroad marble, piece of the inside of a pocket watch, a little clasp that days " Brownie" probably from a Brownie camera, and lastly a 3/4" drill bit. This site dayes to early 1900s. Thanks for looking.

Well that's a fun little assortment of digs. Not sure if the Brownie thing is camera related. The script lettering is uncommon for the Kodak cameras. Maybe it is though. I was thinking it could be referring to a Brownie Girl Scout?

Awesome lead soldier! That’s on my bucket list amongst so many other items

Like the marble too, and the watch piece. Looks like some fun hunting!

I wonder how your soldier lost his head. Lawnmower accident? I recently found a lead cowboy broken in half at the waist. Found both halves but a big chunk of the stomach was gone.

Congrats on your first lead toy soldier. His mama probably said " Now son don't go losing your head " Ha ha. I have dug a couple minus their heads, probably due to a smaller weak spot at the neck area. And like you I have looked for the heads but never seem to find it. Nice bunch of finds. Good luck, Mark
