After work today I hit the country back roads in search of a house to detect, I found a killer looking house built in 1895 to hunt. I ended up finding a Rosie, a Sharp 1920 Merc, two ihps, a V nickel, a tootsie toy, 5 wheaties and a few other relics, ty for looking and HH!

Nice hunt and finds!

I love the detail on the merc, and the Tootsie, and everything really :)
Given the variety of finds, I bet that was a really fun hunt.

Juicy looking permission Vic. Congrats on the the shiny and Wheats. Cool looking bunch of relics as well. That Tootsie roadster is sweet and what is that fancy cover type thing, never saw one before. Anyway I hope you have a return visit planned, most likely you just scratched the surface. Good luck, Mark

I don’t know what that brass piece is, I doubt I’ll go back only because there is no back yard and I covered it pretty good

Nice work and nice photos too, C-W.

The brass item is a Victorian Era Cup Pull or Drawer Pull. That house dates to the last decade of the Victorian Era, which was 1837-1901.

My last house was an 1885 Victorian Queen Anne and it had several cabinet "built-ins" with pulls similar to yours. Mine had a patent date stamped on the reverse side. Take another look at yours.

See link below for several examples of these Pulls.
