Went back to the park that I dug the old handgun from. That area is just so laden with old construction debris that it is no fun to hunt. I did manage a harmonica reed and a really cool padlock. Not sure of the age of it. I think it says Eagle Lock Company on the shackle. Maybe INVADE on the front and an image of tree or something on the back.

I left that site and went to an older ball field. Didn't find anything old, I think they had brought in fill dirt. I just decided to stab clad and look for some jewelry. I came across a screamer of a signal. Sounded like a silver half. Out pops this sterling arrowhead. It's heavy. 28 grams. Happy to have found it.

Thanks for looking.

Nice finds. We have a park like that near my house. It was a city block, full of old houses that got scraped off, and a park was put in its place. I find some neat stuff, but it is a nightmare picking the good stuff out of all the trash signals.

Two awesome digs right there! The arrowhead has such a great look. I'm guessing it was a necklace pendant? The padlock has a great look to it too!

I just noticed the little Lamborghini pin. Cool one for the collection!

I'd be toting around that big arrowhead for a long while, old locks are super cool!

Thanks!

Yes. I'm sure it was a necklace pendant. It has a small loop soldered near the top of it.

I'll definitely have to be in the right mood to give that place another go. Nightmare indeed.

Two gorgeous finds and great pictures . The last few hunts have given me 3 very ugly modern padlocks . All three were damaged and looking like crime victims and all rang as 50 cents also .I have found many padlocks over the years but only two worthy of being kept . That one is definitely a keeper and the arrowhead is incredible !
Nice work , congrats !

Super cool arrowhead ! Nice padlock as well ! I dug this a couple of weeks ago and had no idea what it was . I do now 😛

I like the arrowhead, but I really like the lock. Any idea how old the padlock is?

I haven't had any luck finding another example online. I think it says Eagle lock Company on the shackle (whatever you call it)

It looks old to me, but I don't know anything about old pad locks.

If anyone has any information or insight, please post what you know.

EDIT: The front says INVADER. Once I figured that out, I found examples online. None list the date range though.

Could be a pendant, or maybe the Natives in your area were just ready for werewolves.
