I headed out this afternoon for a short solo hunt, got the OK at a ca 1900 home, and started in on the curb strip and yard. Found a 1940 wheat cent in the curb, and not much in the front yard. Definitely newer dirt had been brought in. Not the case in part of the side yard, and that is where I pulled a 1942-P Silver Quarter, and a 4 cent wheat penny spill. The spill rang up pretty well and I thought I might have found a silver dime but it was a group of pennies.

I had about finished the side yard when I spotted some CASH laying near a pile of leaves... I figured it would be a $1 bill, but turned out to be a TWENTY!:D I did check with the owner to see if they had lost any money, they said no and to keep it! Anyway, a nice surface find, and it makes a very good background to my finds from this yard, thanks for your interest!

Can’t argue with a silver Washington or a nice clean Jackson for that matter! Congrats!
