Plenty of rain around today, but it never bothered me.
Heaps of targets, silver toe-rings,silver cross St. Christopher medallion, a few coins including a shilling and a florin.
And another great double gold day for me, two 18ct rings.2.4 grams & 8.4 grams.
The large on has a motif of a Harp on it .. nice old 18ct stamp too.
One of my nicest finds for a while .. feeling blessed.

:dingding:You sir have been on a hot streak! That miner's ring is special. I really enjoy detecting in the rain. Especially in the summer. It keeps me cooler and leaves beaches more solitary.

Really nice rings and nothing better hunting dry sand than lots of wind or rain or cold temps. My favorite time hunting the beach are during high winds as the recent drops (coins) are exposed and you simply pick them up.

It is nice to get fellow Forum Members help in IDing these finds!

Beautiful rings meggie! Nice ID Doug!!

crazy. Just plain crazy. And I love the first picture, top-left, of the "freshly revealed" still-sand-crusted coins and items.
