Hello all.

I awoke to another beautiful morning here in West Cornwall. A gentle breeze and light cloud made for better detecting conditions compared to the searing heat of the previous weeks. A little rain in the week had softened things up a bit but it was generally still hard digging. The area of pasture that I decided to search was reluctant to give up many finds, making me work for every digable signal. Nevertheless, I was furnished with the usual buttons and a few Georgian worn coppers - as expected I guess.....

Also what looks like a spur rowel to me... (Second pic).https://finds.org.uk/database/artefacts/record/id/732691
Not sure yet on the right hand item....

The hammy is a Penny of Edward 3rd.

Many thanks,

b.
