That’s what we assumed. The spot we found them would have been a place some miner would have warmed his bones in the morning. Maybe he enjoyed his morning cigarette and whiskey there...

Those are combined finds. The real, token, and match box was found by my buddy today. A lot of my posts are our combined finds on a day. We both do very well though. He regained his treasure title for today [emoji23]

Holy cr@p !! Your posts are beginning to look like east coast guys posts ! This is simply amazing ! :shock:

If you go and find a gold coin on top of all this, I'm going to give up metal detecting, and take up needle-point instead ! :frustrated:

Thanks for the add! To add to the mystery we found a lot of buttons there. I’m wondering if this was a seamstress location for the miners. I don’t recall a hunt where so many buttons of different variety came out.

Thanks Mark! Today I went out and found almost nothing. 6 hours of scouring ravines and seasonal creek drainages. I think I’m getting paid about 1/2 a cent an hour now [emoji23]
