Was about 2 ft. down at my new place.

At first glance from the seat, it looked like an artificial hip joint...wasnt sure I wanted to look close.

I will tell what it is in 2nd post.

Chrome doesn't look too bad for being buried for who knows how long.
Bet a guy couldn't do that with modern chrome.

Cool! What are you going to do with it? Stick that down on the hood of your Daily Driver! It would look much cooler than what I found! :laughing:

I knew it was a hood ornament, just did not know from what kind of car. Maybe it's because I'm older than that hood ornament....smiles. Nice find/save.
