Friends of ours were packing for a week long trip camping. Prior to the trip the wife was cutting flowers from her raised beds to bring as a gift to some friends they were meeting on the way. About an hour into the trip she realized that her rings were missing. She had put them on her pinky while cutting flowers (I'm not sure why) and they had dropped off. This happened in July. 2 weeks ago at church she asked me if I still had my detectors. I replied that I did and she told me the story. I went over that afternoon with my daughter's Ace 250 and my XLT not holding out much hope. I started using the Ace and searched in the beds with no luck. Then I moved to the outside edges of the beds and within 5 minutes located both rings (as well as some other junk I dug) making our friends *very* happy.
It renewed my interest in MD as well. I'm going to poke around at their home as it's one of the oldest in the area, was a meeting place and is adjacent to a 150+ year old cemetery.
